Pierre C. Vieillescazes
Mr. Vieillescazes is the founder and managing partner of Carrick Bend LLC, an infrastructure finance advisory company and a business originator for the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). He has built a long experience and an extensive network in both the private and public sectors, making him an efficient facilitator and arranger of infrastructure projects. Prior to starting Carrick Bend in 2008, Mr. Vieillescazes worked for more than twenty years with the World Bank Group as a cofinancing adviser and a senior financial officer. He also held a number ofpositions with Credit Agricole of France, including Senior Vice President and General Manager of the New York Branch and First Vice President of their International Loan and New Issue Department. Mr. Vieillescazes has an extensive advisory and negotiation experience, is also a recognized expert on political and sovereign risk guarantee instruments and on the use of multilateral development institutions resources by the private sector. His field of expertise includes structured, project and acquisition finance in energy, telecommunication, transportation and water. Mr. Vieillescazes is a graduate from the University of Paris, Law School. He is fluent in French and English.
