Mr. Chbani is an investment professional with over 15 years experience in the US and emerging/frontier markets, with a diverse track record in sell-side research, quantitative strategy, investment advisory and alternative investments. Until recently, Mr. Chbani led a team of research analysts covering Moroccan and MENA equity fixed income markets as a director of equity, fixed income and quantitative research at CDG Capital in Casablanca, Morocco. Previously, he was an investment research and portfolio & quantitative strategist for S&P Investment Advisory Services (SPIAS) in NYC, where he designed and managed equity and multi-asset portfolios for major mutual funds and insurance companies. In addition, Mr. Chbani has experience evaluating buyout opportunities in energy, infrastructure and telecommunications sectors from his time as a consultant in project finance and private equity in emerging markets at ScarabaeusCapital in NYC. He was also Vice President of the Quantitative Strategy Group at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch, in NYC, where he analyzed sector and industry market conditions with focus on growth sectors.

Mr. Chbani receive his MBA in Financial Management and BBA in Finance from Iona College and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, CAIA. He is also a candidate for Chartered Financial Analyst, CFA.

He speaks English, French, and Arabic fluently
