M. Mansard is the founder and Managing partner of Phaesun France, an engineering, manufacturing and installer of off-grid renewable-energy based projects. In his current role, Mr. Mansard is leading the company’s development network including two subsidiaries (in Eritrea and Panama), one branch office (UAE) as well as more than 40 business partners in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. Phaesun provides a full range of products and services for project developers, investors and construction companies, primarily in the solar energy field. The scope of activities covers project design to engineering, construction and turn-key solutions. M. Mansard is an expert in the development of Water Energy Rural infrastructure projects in remote areas. He spent 10 years with BP Solar working on various projects in Africa and the Middle East. His positions at BP Solar included Sales Manager for Eastern and Southern Africa, Regional Sales Manager for Africa, and Global Off-Grid Division Manager. M. Mansard is also a board member of the Alliance for Rural Electricification(Trade Association) in Brussels, as well as an active member of the working groups of the GSMA Association, Community Power from Mobile, and Green Power for Mobile.
His recent clients include Governmental Organizations (GiZ, MoE) and Non-Governmental Organizations (CRC), Multilateral Agencies (Unicef, UNDP, FED), Oil and Gas Companies (BP, Honeywell, ZADCO), Telecom Companies (Ericsson, MarocTelecom), and large contractors (Ineo Suez).
M. Mansard graduated in Economy and International Relations.
